A few words…
I have been involved within the world of leather accessories and retail for over 16 years, working with different manufacturers and leather suppliers in the UK and Europe. Through overseeing and managing various projects I now know how and where to go to to make particular products to the same high spec as luxury brands but not for same eye watering prices.
Having recently worked with St Pancras Renaissance Hotel and Manhattan Loft Corporation to design and create a range of travel accessories inspired by the architectural features of the St Pancras building, I realised how effective it could be to incorporate authentic design features from a building and put it into product design. To create products for companies that were relevant to their identity & brand ethos, not just pieces to give away or sell that one could find anywhere.
Creating a range of luxury goods, from leather accessories to candles, stationary and toiletries, I worked with a wide range of designers and manufacturers to pull all the product range together. I thought why not capitalise on the network of designers, suppliers and manufacturers that I had used to make the products and use them to create beautiful products for other brands looking for something a little different and more exciting.
I therefore decided to set up PHILLY STUDIO, a one stop service for clients wanting to create bespoke products, that weren’t generic pieces that anyone could pick off the shelf. A studio where clients could visit and go that little bit extra to design something that told their story authentically & effectively for a reasonable price.
